When your affinity reaches 140 or above, sleep at any inn. Ernst knocks on your door at night. He wants to talk to you and wants you to go on a walk with him (yes/no).
Ernst: Angelique, how are you, isn't this journey hard for you? You haven't become discouraged?
Angelique: No, I'm alright!
Ernst: Oh... the physical and mental fatigue in regard to the mission to save the cosmos is not an easy thing. With you enduring that, I was a little worried whether you have the strength to continue this journey... Somehow, it was a needless anxiety. You are a stronger person than I predicted. No, since the Queen Examination, you couldn't be judged by looks, you were a person with an inner strength. But, I keep in mind that, even in this kind of situation, there isn't a person who could maintain cheer. After you were inaugurated Queen, even though it is a short time, you grew a lot. But, it's difficult putting up with the present situation. Since saving the cosmos isn't so simple. From now on, the journey will become more dangerous and difficult than it is now. At times, I feel my limits and I'm not sure if the hardship is bearable. And yet, you... are you confident you can get through the journey from now on?

Ernst: Angelique, look at the sky. Looking at this night sky, do you feel some change? ...I'm afraid the answer is probably no. Since no change has occurred on the stars visible from here. But, like this, it seems not one thing has changed. This night sky too... for certain, is changing to darkness. I read that fact from the Royal Research Institute's data. I can assert it without mistake. Furthermore, the speed is unusual. There isn't much time until an invasion where the emperor's power is displayed.... As we accomplish something, it won't seem likely that the emperor's control will progress at that increase. Doing so, when I felt the disparity in power that couldn't lessen it, I am uneasy. ...Doubt has developed, whether our going is really the correct measure to save the cosmos. I don't think the journey is a waste. But, now, what if choosing the course of a journey is wrong? ...It's all useless. I end up thinking so and I'm afraid to take the next step....

When you arrive at the Planet of the Ancient Castle Ruins for your battle with Leviath, Ernst suggests you get some rest first. You automatically sleep at a house in Deep Forest Village. For the third time, Ernst knocks on your door at night. He wants to talk to you and wants you to go with him (yes/no).
Ernst: What's the matter? Moping like this isn't like you. Perhaps, thinking of tomorrow's battle, you're being pursued by uneasiness. However, this is a harsh thing to say but... now is not the time to have misgivings about the battle. The future of the cosmos depends on tomorrow's decisive battle. So, by no means must we be defeated. No matter what, even though it costs our lives, we can't grant the emperor "victory". Be firm, Angelique. With that attitude, you'll get in trouble. Harboring misgivings like that, when you are contending in tomorrow's battle, do you think you will defeat the emperor? Where did that Angelique go, that had so much strength I admired?
